Spyderco

Spyderco knives are manufactured by a company based in the USA. The majority of the company production comes from Japan, smaller part from the USA. Knives with the mark of spider are aimed at enthusiasts, collectors and fans of high quality knives. During the production of the knives, the Spyderco company places emphasis on the fact, that the knife would be maximally functional, ergonomic, reliable and that it would achieve maximum performance. The founder of the company, Sal Glesser, relied in the manufacturing of the knives upon experts, for which individual knives are intended. He cooperated with instructors for self-defence, athletes and other experts. The Spyderco knives have a straight serrated or combined edge. The Spyderco company introduced several innovations, for example the first knife that had an opening in the blade for opening of the knife with one hand or a clip for securing the knife on pants.
