Chasing the land speed record is the main task of modern man. In the twenties, this dream was embodied by Frank Lockhart, the legendary American racer. A true daredevil, self-taught mechanic and true speed demon, Lockhart was the definitive hero everyone talked about at their dinner tables. In 1926, he became the youngest winner of the Indy 500 at the age of just 24. Lockhart won many other prestigious races, capturing the imagination of the American people. But his real goal was the elusive land speed record. On April 25, 1928, Lockhart climbed aboard his remarkable supercharged V16 Stutz Black Hawk at Daytona Beach. At the time, Lockhart was just 25 years old and flying at a record speed of 220 miles per hour when suddenly the right rear tire blew and the world stopped spinning. Today, his legend lives on as the speed demons of our time continue to push the boundaries of what is possible.

When handcrafting this urban style knife, TRC thought of Lockhart and his way of life. The lightweight SPEED DEMON model with a weight of 70 g has an innovative urban design and a skeletonized handle. You really can't go wrong with the SPEED DEMON for stylish and amazingly exciting everyday wear: it looks as sharp as it cuts. The knife is small enough to carry comfortably, but can handle even the most demanding cutting tasks. The blade is 4.2 mm thick and 80 mm long. A handmade Kydex ® holster is included.
